Bomb Threat Reported at Easton High

For the fifth time this year, police called to Easton Area High School due to bomb scare.

 

Easton Area High School was locked down Tuesday morning after someone called in a bomb threat to the building.

It was the fifth such threat this year at the Palmer Township school. According to the school district, the building was locked down while police from Palmer and Easton searched the building. An Easton police dog found nothing, the district alert said.

The building was locked down at 10:27 a.m. Students and faculty resumed their schedules by 10:56 a.m.

We were locked down inside of the building when there was a bomb threat? Good thing there wasn't a real bomb, because we were all inside.

My daughter was "locked" in her classroom with doors locked, shades down and huddled in a corner.

I stand corrected. I misunderstood my son when he described the days events.

They did go out for the "fire drill", but they were "locked" and "huddled" in one of the corners of the room for the "Lock Down". My apologies.
