Body Found in Delaware Was NJ Woman

Lane Alden went missing last week in Warren County after boat accident.

 

The body recovered from the Delaware River in Williams Township Thursday was that of a missing New Jersey woman, police said Friday.

According to the Express-Times, the New Jersey State Police said Lane Alden died of blunt force trauma.

Alden, 57, of Harmony Township, disappeared June 23 following a boat accident in New Jersey. The driver of the boat, 61-year-old Donald Jessamine of Phillipsburg, is facing DUI charges.

On Thursday morning, Alden's body was found on the Pennsylvania side of the river, just outside of Easton.
