Accused Meth Cook Arrested in Easton

Easton police say Michael Williams had 'methamphetamine cooking materials' in Pine Street home.

For the second time in two weeks, Easton police say they've uncovered a meth lab.

According to police, a raid Thursday afternoon at 1415 Pine St. uncovered "methamphetamine cooking materials."

The address is just blocks from a home in Wilson that was raided last Friday, leading to two arrests. Both homes were part of the same drug operation, said Lt. Matthew Gerould.

In Thursday's raid, police from Easton's vice/narcotics unit worked with the state police's Special Emergency Response Team, detaining two adults.

One man will be charged: Michael Williams, 52, who lived at the Pine Street address. Police say a state police Clean Lab Team assisted in securing and removing evidence from the home.

This stuff is terrifying. I remember watching a documentary over 10 years ago on meth. Back then I believe it was more prevalent on the west coast. They said that it would be taking the nation by storm because it could be made so cheaply with household ingrediants and the 'high' lasted so long. It's very easy to spot the meth heads. They are walking corpses. It's nearly impossible to quit and the ones that do suffer irreversible damage to their brain chemistry (forget about the teeth falling out and pock marks from picking the skin)
