Good morning everyone. This week officially starts Year Three of the Easton Patch. As I said in my message to readers on Sunday, thank you all. Now let's take a look at the week ahead.
1. Easton City Council will take up its parking debate Tuesday night at its next budget meeting, scheduled for 6 at city hall.
2. City council is scheduled to hold its regular meeting Wednesday night, also at 6 at city hall.
3. Speaking of parking, blogger Jon Geeting suggests the city charge more at its meters during busier times of day.
4. A parent writes to Palmer-Forks Patch, saying the Easton Area School District has had too many half-days.
5. Today is Nov. 26. It's the 90th anniversary of British archaeologists Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon entering King Tut's tomb. Also, Casablanca premiered on this day in 1942.
