5 Things to Know Today, March 5

Good morning everyone. March is here, with spring not far behind. Here's five things to know today.

1. Historic reenactor Melissa Rabinsky will give a talk on Dolley Madison -- while in character AS Dolley Madison -- today at noon at the Easton Area Community Center, as part of the center's "First Monday" program.

2. On a similar note, members of the Easton chapter of the American Association of University Women will present a program on Women in Pennsylvania History Thursday a 10 a.m. at the Sigal Museum.

3. Easton's NAACP chapter meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. According to Neighbors of Easton, the group will host Frank Pintabone, an Easton Area School Board member.

4. Last week's fundraiser for the Easton Main Street Initiative at Black & Blue raised $765, according to the initiative.

5. Today is March 5. It's the 242nd anniversary of the Boston Massacre. Actor Dean Stockwell, whose resume ranges from Quantum Leap to Blue Velvet, is 76.
