5 Things to Do in Easton This Weekend

Movies in the Park, Live in the Square, the School of Rock performs, and more...

Good morning everyone. Time to look ahead at what's happening this weekend in Easton.

1. The city's Live in the Square concert series continues tonight in Centre Square at 7:30 p.m. with the The Heavy Beat*.

2. Movies in the Park's latest installment is Saturday after dark, with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol showing at Scott Park.

3. The Easton School of Rock plays a free concert tonight at 6:30 p.m.

4. The Easton Farmers' Market is happening Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to all the usual events, you might get a chance to spot King Guate of the Ga people of Ghana, former Palmer resident John Quartey, who's scheduled to arrive in Easton today and visit the market Saturday.

5. The BAM String Trio plays a concert Sunday at 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, featuring works from Mozart, Handel/Halverson as well as the rare string trio version of Bach's Goldberg Variations.

*We initially had this listed as a performance by the Trouble City All-Stars, who have apparently cancelled.
