5 Things to Do in Easton This Weekend
Mark Russell at the State Theatre, two egg hunts, and more...
Easter's not until next weekend, but that doesn't mean it's too early for your kids to hunt for Easter eggs.
They'll get two chances this weekend: first on Satuday at 3 p.m. at Richards Field at Easton Area High School. The hunt—sponsored by the high school baseball team—is open to all children up to grade four.
Then on Sunday, the city of Easton sponsors its annual egg hunt at Cottingham Stadium. That hunt—for kids 4 to 7—will begin at 11:30 a.m., rain or shine. You can also learn how to dye Easter eggs with natural ingredients Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Bachmann Publick House.
Also happening this weekend:
- At the State Theatre, Four Bitchin' Babes bring their "their whimsical, hip and sophisticated girl-group harmonies" and "(never blue) standup-humor" to town Friday at 8 p.m.
- Also at the State: comedian Mark Russell will talk about his career with the theater's Shelley Brown and also perform his signature piano-based political stand-up. That's happening Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
- The iMiJ Shop hosts an open house all weekend. Check out their Jump Photo Booth Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and see samples of work by owners Mike and Jamie Cabreza Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
- Artist Will Hübscher will talk about his Mongoland exhibit Sunday at 2 p.m. at ConneXions.
